Team Manager - SAP Hybris Expert Services - Cloud for Customer

PURPOSE OF THE JOB

Within the SAP Hybris Business Unit, Expert Services for SAP

Hybris Cloud for Customer plays a crucial role to proactively drive

and safeguard successful implementations and continuous

adoption. Whether lighthouse customer projects, introduction of new

solutions, safeguarding strategic customers or enable the eco

system, the key goal is to drive customer success with adoption,

customer satisfaction, reference and ultimately renewal.

As center of product expertise, we add our experience and best

practices in all phases of the product and customer engagement life

cycle - from contract closure throughout implementation, go-live,

run, extend or renewal.

PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES

1. Manage the team of up to 10 functional and technical product

experts from junior to very senior in SAP Labs Bangalore including

all team functions, goal setting, motivation, performance

management, retention, upskill, people development, etc.

2. Provide thought leadership in helping to expand and refine

service offerings. Drive productivity such as best practices,

knowledge sharing, prove and improve product and processes.

3. Drive business development for our services in the entire Asia

region including evangelizing the value add, establish relationship

and get buy-in from key critical stakeholders in field sales, service

and with partners. Change the engagement model from reactive to

an early proactive setup for success. Drive for enablement.

4. Manage the demand and incoming requests, understand and

structure holistic business problem and requirement and propose an

appropriate solution strategy. Communicate and advice customers

and partners on eye-level and across organizations, hierarchy levels

and cultures. Identify and schedule skilled resource for delivery,

trigger SOW, cost, budget and time management, planning,

monitoring, etc.

The team operates globally cross all time zones, cultures,

organizations and hierarchy levels.

Requires travel within across the APJ and Great China region on a

need basis

EDUCATION QUALIFICATIONS

  • University degree in computer science, comparable education or

    job experience

  • Very fluent English language skills (both verbal & written).
  • Additional APJ regional languages is a plus.

PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE

  • More than 10 years delivering software solutions to the enterprise.
  • Preferably in SAP environment.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience managing services delivery and

    projects

  • Detailed understanding of software business development, sales,

    account management

  • Experienced with remote delivery services and CRM business

    processes/domain knowledge

  • Track record of managing complex projects including customer

    success and satisfaction

  • Previous experience at a global consulting organization or at a top

    100 software company is a plus

  • Excellent communication, networking and relationship building

    skills

  • Excellent written and verbal English

    guidance

  • Strong intellect and ability to motivate and energize by infusing an

  • Ability to work across organizations, hierarchy levels,

    personalities, cultures and global teams.

  • Very good fluent English language skills (both verbal & written).
  • Additional APJ regions language is a plus.
