What you will be doing Under general direction of the Vice President of Business Solutions, this role is responsible for managing a large, multi-year, compliance program aimed at meeting the Federal Drug Supply Chain and Security Act (DSCSA). The role is directly responsible for managing the overall integrated program plan, long term strategic roadmap, and managing individual project teams and program reviews to ensure projects are scoped correctly, risks are properly managed and mitigated, as well as ensuring financial commitments are met. This role involves partnering with various business stakeholders and teams to ensure the program is successful both from a quality of delivery and financial perspective.
  • Prior experience in pharmaceutical serialization and Federal Drug Supply Chain and Security Act (DSCSA) is required.
  • Partnering with IT and business leadership, manage the overall integrated plan and program roadmap for the Secure Supply Chain initiative.
  • Works closely with Vice President of Business Solutions, to establish, and communicate the long term development and implementation roadmap.
  • Works with clients account managers and IT project managers to translate business roadmap and requirements into actionable, time-boxed, cross-functional projects that meet business needs.
  • Pursue new clients jointly with business development to set up capability presentations and act as a point person for serialization and DSCSA service offerings.
  • Responsible for the overall delivery of all program milestones and deliverables as well as holding individual project teams accountable and responsible for their deliverables within specific projects.
  • Lead and coordinate with individual project managers and financial leads to establish regular communications on project status, risks budgets and timelines.
  • Provide project management leadership for any future serialization pilots.
  • When applicable, represents ICS position and solutions within the industry at industry meetings.
  • When applicable, represents ICS position, and requirements with solutions providers.
  • Working with the Marketing Director, manage the development of internal and external communication that can be used to support ICS industry positions and solutions regarding DSCSA and serialization.
  • Ensure the development of SOPs and training to support project and program go-lives.
  • Assist the program finance lead on ensuring proper financial tracking to planned projects and work with individual project and teams to resolve any variances.
  • Must be willing to travel as required (up to 50% of the time).

  • What your background should look like This role requires training and experience in fields such as business administration, engineering, logistics, computer sciences, supply chain or similar vocations generally obtained through completion of a four-year bachelor's degree program or equivalent combination of experience and education. Normally requires a minimum of eight (8) years directly related and progressively responsible experience. Experience within a distribution center and/or manufacturer is highly desired.
    • Experience running a Program Management Office, or similarly large mult-functional program, including development of integrated project plans, risk registers, staffing plans, and strategic roadmaps.
    • Demonstrated knowledge and experience leading projects related to: warehouse operations, warehouse and business systems, process improvement, logistics, or system implementation and deployment.
    • Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing; ability to communicate (and work) effectively with people from different technical and business backgrounds, acting as a liaison, understanding and appreciating different perspectives and translating into terms necessary for any group or individual to understand.
    • Ability to lead dynamically and energize work teams to learn and apply new skills and techniques to respond to business needs.
    • Good analytical, conceptual and problem solving skills to evaluate business problems and apply knowledge to identify appropriate solutions.
    • Strong interpersonal skills.
    • Understands how to communicate difficult/sensitive information tactfully.
    • Strong presentation skills; ability to present and discuss strategies and technical information in a manner that establishes rapport, persuades others, and establishes understanding for technical and non-technical audiences.
    • Strong organizational skills; attention to detail.
    • Ability to resolve issues effectively and efficiently.
    • Proficiency with project management tools such as Microsoft Project, Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Visio.
    • Prior experience in either consulting, Six-Sigma, Lean Manufacturing or Kaizen is beneficial.
